Get set to cheer for your house!
Our annual swimming carnival will be on Tuesday 11 February.
This year's carnival is a twilight one, held between 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
We ask all children to be at the venue by 5:15pm, to allow for a prompt 5:30pm start. Due to time constraints, this carnival is for competitors only. There won’t be any novelty events.
Students who can swim 50m competently are encouraged to attend.
Centaur students are not to access the other pools in the complex during the carnival. All parents, family members and friends may come along but will need to pay the $4.00 pool entry fee.
Nominations
Students must nominate the events they would like to participate in. Nomination forms must be returned to school by Thursday 6 February. View the note.
- 200m Individual Medley
- 100m Open Freestyle
- 50m Freestyle
- 50m Breaststroke
- 50m Backstroke
- 50m Butterfly
All children are eligible for the open events, but they must be able to swim 100 metres or 50 metres of all strokes for the medley.
Volunteers
For the carnival to run smoothly we will need the assistance of parents and helpers. Please get in touch with the carnival organiser John White.

Students are able to arrive wearing their swimming costume but please ensure your child has a change of clothing to go home in.
